School Lunch News

Food Service has changed dramatically over the past couple of years, and I am happy to say that for the most part the students at Chippewa are accepting the new, healthier standards.  The government mandates on more fruits and vegetables as well as the whole-grain foods have become more the norm.  We are now receiving fresh-local produce from area orchards as well as taking part in a government program that helps us receive fresh produce from other sources.  2016-2017 school year will continue to see new and improved products as vendors continue to make changes to their products.  Thank you to the community for helping support the new food standards and the Chippewa Schools!
